4 Ways to Style Your Bridal Slip Dress Beyond the Altar

When I started my brand Lee & McCabe a little over a year ago, my goal was to create bridal styles brides would wear again after their wedding day. As brides we spend so much money on our outfits that are typically only worn once and most of the times after our wedding day is over, the pieces either sit in our closet or we list them for sale. I truly wanted to change that and create pieces that would transition effortlessly from wedding moments to everyday life. Each bridal piece is thoughtfully designed to become a wardrobe staple, something you’ll continue to cherish—whether you’re styling it for a romantic date night, your wedding anniversary, a honeymoon look, or brunch with your girlfriends.

Here are four ways you can style our signature Amore bridal slip dress and our new something blue slip dress beyond your wedding day.

Amore Bridal Slip Dress Outfit Ideas

Look 1:

If you're going on a ski trip or flying out to Park City or Aspen, style the Amore bridal slip dress with a fur coat and your favorite pair of boots for a chic dinner outfit. Chocolate brown is my favorite color for the winter and it pairs so well with a white slip dress.

Look 2:

One of my favorite pieces that pairs so well with the Amore bridal slip dress is an elegant structured blazer. Throw a blazer over the slip dress with a belt, boots, and your favorite handbag and it's the perfect look for work, date night, or dinner with the girls.

Something Blue Bridal Slip Dress Outfit Ideas

Look 1:

For a more casual look, I love throwing an oversized or boxy white tee over the Something Blue slip dress. Style it with fun jewelry and sandals for an easy but chic look for running errands or brunch with your girlfriends.

Look 2:

What I love most about a slip dress is it's versatility. It can easily be dressed up or down. If you've RSVP'd yes to multiple weddings this year, you can dress up the something blue slip dress with gold heels and accessories for a timeless wedding guest look this spring or summer.
