A Romantic & Modern Brooklyn Wedding
Heather & Brandon's love story began over something they both genuinely love — fitness. The couple crossed paths through The D10, a charitable athletic competition in New York City and were both training at Tonehouse. Naturally, their first date ended up being a class together. It was the most “us” way to start.

The Proposal
He proposed during an unforgettable trip to Japan. Brandon had planned every detail with our travel agent and tour guide, and he surprised me in Hakone at a lookout over Lake Ashi. It was a breathtaking view! The whole experience was very intimate, romantic and so thoughtful. We spent the rest of the trip celebrating through Kyoto and Osaka, soaking in every moment.
The Venue
We got married at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. Since we currently live in Brooklyn, we knew we wanted somewhere meaningful close to home. The Wythe Hotel struck the perfect balance of intimate and understated elegance — a space that felt personal to us while still feeling elevated.

The Bridal Outfits
Getting Ready Look:
A Lee & McCabe slip dress — effortlessly flattering, elegant, and timeless. It was the perfect piece to feel beautiful, calm, and classic while getting ready.
Ceremony Look:
A Berta Jolie gown with a high neck, high slit, and open back. It embodied everything I envisioned for my wedding day: modern elegance with a timeless silhouette.

Advice to Future Brides
Be fully present. The day moves faster than you can ever imagine, so take intentional pauses to soak in the quiet, in-between moments. One of my favorite parts was carving out a little time alone with Brandon — just the two of us — to breathe, reflect, and absorb the beauty of the day and all of the love around us.
